A U.S. Marine does not do the stuff the author writes about. No Marine General would place another Marine in harms way just to satisfy some political hack. If the Marines can’t find men and women would want to join because it’s the right thing to do, then the Marine Corps will just do without them! Also, why would a Marine Colonel be putting on a stupid show in France? You think the Marines want Frenchmen to join up! Stupid! This is poor science fiction at it’s worse.
I believe it would be best to just kill off this series before it really gets bad, oops! Too late. A word to the wise, don’t bother reading this book. It’s a waste of time. And, yes, I did like this series when it first came out. Not any more!
